Honey from Lending Gard is a result of the geology of the Fjord Coast Park.
Geology determines the soil, which affects what kind of plants thrive here, and thus affects what flowers and plants our bees collect nectar from. At the same time, the plants' nectar is influenced by the mineral content of the soil. The plants here help give the honey its specific taste and character.

Just as wine is a product of terroir – the interaction between soil, climate and human factors – honey from Lending Gard is an expression of the specific nature and geology of our area. The honey captures the essence of the landscape of the Fjord Coast Park, which gives our honey a unique identity.
